Wajoli! Welcome!
Wajoli means 'welcome' in the local Luo language, spoken by the Acholi people of northern Uganda. The name was introduced by a young Ugandan widow with two children. She said that everyone deserves and should welcome opportunities into their life - without fear of the unknown - opportunities to learn, opportunities to prosper, opportunities to journey to a self-sustainable, thriving future.
At Wajoli Foundation, we welcome opportunities for all.
Education, health and livelihood initiatives are recognised ways to provide opportunities and improve prosperity in developing countries.
“Talents and gifts are out there. That’s a level playing field that exists everywhere. Opportunity does not, and what we need is to provide those opportunities for everyone.”
— Rami Malek
Opportunities transform lives, create positive impact, and bring hope, joy and love to the people that need it most.
